Welcome to Winnie Visser Counselling Services

I appreciate the risk you are taking by checking out this site as it takes a tremendous amount of courage to consider pursuing the help of a therapist.

As a Registered Psychotherapist and a Marriage and Family Therapist, I use a process-orientated approach and utilize aspects of attachment theories, narrative, solution-focused, experiential, cognitive-behavioural and emotionally focused approaches to therapy. This eclectic approach is rooted in Family Systems and is client centred.

Erik Erickson once wrote, "A crisis can be a turning point; it can heighten your potential for positive change. It is a time to rebuild, to commit yourself to a lifetime of renewal, to allow yourself to feel hopeful about your future. It is a time to create something new, something better than what you had before!”

Now that is something to strive for!

Call for an appointment and we can begin this new journey!
